Do your cleansing bars contain Sodium Hydroxide?Updated 3 months ago
Sodium Hydroxide is commonly used in the soap making process to turn fats and oils into soap, a process called saponification. However, by the end of the soap making process, most of the Sodium Hydroxide has dissociated (broken up) and is no longer present in the final product. As a result, while we use Sodium Hydroxide as a raw ingredient in our manufacturing process, there is only a residual amount of Sodium Hydroxide present in our finished cleansing bars.
