Should I wear sunscreen daily?Updated 3 months ago
Yes! SPF or sunscreen should be applied every morning as the final step in your skincare routine and before sun exposure. No matter your skin tone, everyone’s skin needs to be protected from the sun’s UV rays that can cause cancer even when it’s cloudy. Not to mention, a daily SPF can also protect your skin from blue light emitted by digital screens (TVs, computers, laptops, smartphones and tablets), electronic devices, fluorescent and LED lighting that can lead to aging skin and hyperpigmentation.
It’s also important to note that if you’re using corrective skincare products containing AHAs, BHAs or Retinol, your skin could be more sensitive to sun exposure. As a result, you should make sure you're applying SPF to prevent the reversal or adverse effects that the sun could cause.
